Ticket System

Wouldn’t it be great to be able to simply enter an offender’s information along with any statutes violated and let a computer figure out the rest? Well, now you can! Our Ticket System will determine fine amounts, schedule court appearances, and even choose the correct ticket types to print out for you. The program uses rules-based logic which can be configured to meet your department’s specific needs.

The Citation module allows an officer to create citations according to the jurisdiction of the statutes violated. The officer must enter the offender’s information once, then use the programs data entry aids to help fill-in the rest. For example, convenience buttons let the officer copyResidence Address information to the Mailing and Owner information sections. Drop-down lists of choices are everywhere. NIBRS compliant lists of vehicle Makes and Colors, State Abbreviations, Street Names, Zip Code lookups, to name a few, help make data entry fast, accurate, and easy. As the officer enters the statutes that have been violated, the program will calculate the appropriate fees and schedule any necessary court appearances. Fees can be determined based on mail vs. walk-in, a construction zone multiplier can be applied, and a base fee for speeding can be applied along with additional fees for miles over the posted limit. Court appearances are scheduled according to minimum lead days, the weekdays that court is in session, court start time, and selected "no court" days, e.g. holidays, etc. The program will also determine which ticket types are necessary to print. You can define the appropriate jurisdictions/ticket types, e.g. Municipal, District, Moving Violation, etc., when the system is configured to your department.

The Parking module is comprised of two sections; theTime Check (or Chalk Time) section and the Parking Ticket section. Vehicles that are parked in areas with a time limit can be recorded in the Time Check module. Once the date and time that the vehicle will violate is entered, the program will monitor the vehicle and notify the officer should a violation occur. At that time a Parking Ticket is just a click away. The time check record creation process has been streamlined to accommodate the way real officers work in the field. Standard parking tickets can be created using the same fast and easy interface as the Citation module. Tickets can be printed on demand and reprinted if necessary. Powerful tools help search the ticket archive should you have the need to review a ticket at a later date.
